Job Role: Lead Manager – Tendering  (Railways)

Work Location: Bangalore

Education

Min.:  Bachelor of Engineering or B.Com

Pref. : Professional Degree Like MBA or  CA/ICWA will be added advantage

Age Max.: 40-50

Computer Literacy

Strong working capability with Microsoft Office – PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Languages

Compulsory: English & Hindi

Presentation Skills

Able to converse fluently and strong communication skills (spoken & written)

Experience Required

# Preparing and reviewing the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all services are included in the final price to the customer

# Manage inputs from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from Sales, Supply Chain, finance, & commercial and Project related Technical experts.

# Ensure timely delivery of the bids

# Ensure commercial data system be well and regularly updated (Wall-C )

# Prepare & Issue the IFQ

# Prepare the full technical documentation necessary to submit to Customer:

# Code of Ethics & Compliance, EHS, Railway Safety, Quality, PMM, etc

# Work in close relationship with management and the full tender team including involved units

# Identify, analyze and evaluate QCD gaps (a design review is performed)

# Define interfaces and allocate between actors the cost targets, contractual obligations,

# Manage the QCD review

# Check, challenge and consolidate well documented commitments

# Prepare risks & opportunities reviews

# Organize risks reviews and ensure the elaboration of mitigation plan,

# Prepare and maintain updated risk register and ambition register,

# Prepare compliance matrix.

# Manage the budget of tender preparation cost

Years of Experience

8 – 10 Years or more with Tenders and Bids (Submission of Bids /Bid Analysis /BPM) with Rail Infra or Railway Engineering Services Companies

Technical Experience

#  Understanding of commercial aspects of bidding including risk management

#  Proficient in using Microsoft Office

#  Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues

#  Strong in costing concepts

#  Good overall knowledge of railway products and systems

Managerial Experience

#  Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues

#  Adherence to all deadlines set

Remuneration

12-13 Lacs per annum
